The next day we ad to canoe to our next spot. I must say I much prefer kayaks. It took all 14 of us to lift on canoe into the water. You can imagine how well the canoeing trip went with 14 teenagers. All around you, you could see people getting stuck in mangroves and canoes getting stuck on the sand bank. All the excitement brought us all closer and we will be talking about this trip for months.

Camp
Imagine 5 days in the outdoors. Five days in a tent with 14 of your peers. Everyday you do something different that you usually never do in your life time. Maybe to some people this is called bliss. To others it is called year 8 camp. The first day we met at school at seven o' clock (already a bad start) then they give us giant backpacks and make us walk down to the train station were the rival school stares and laughs as we all huddle in a pack on to the train. The word 'camp' could not be taken down to one word. On the last day we sat down in a circle and discussed the memories of camp. Some memories I will remember for the rest of my life is when we won the talent show. Every one in our group joined together and the bond between all of us I could not explain. Another was the moment I jumped off the night fox (flying fox at night). For all of you that don't know this flying fox was were you had to hike up a mountain until you got to this platform. From then you ran and jumped. Let me tell you, one of the most scariest things of all time as well as something I will remember forever. The feeling when you jump and the free fall for a couple seconds feels like you are falling from the heavens until the reassuring harness pulls you back up. You fly down at great speed. That moment when you open your eyes and release you are still alive. The adrenaline rush was huge.
